得乎其高 and can (really) achieve high results
e.g. We should not do anything to achieve high results, like earning big money at the expense of breaking moral values or sacriifcing interests of other people.

If a football team only knows how to score goals, but don't know how to defend. It is impossible to achieve real success.

If you have sex without condoms, you are in serious danger of making a baby (however, if you are afraid of this or that and don't do any sex, it is also not good). Aim high but at the same time play safe.
