Job Title: International Mobile App Marketing Trainee

At MY.COM we focus on developing Gaming, Social and Productivity products for mobile. Our main goal is to make lives better through improved functionality and fun. The mobile app market is becoming increasingly international and so is our company. At present, our portfolio consists of MAPS.ME, myMail and a variety of mobile games with more than 15 million active users worldwide. Our HQ is located in Amsterdam, however we also have offices in Silicon Valley and Moscow.
We are currently seeking an international mobile app marketing trainee for remote work. You will gain a valuable insight into the world of digital and apps as today’s world is becoming increasingly mobile. You would be encouraged to take a creative and a pro-active approach to work with a strong emphasis on local industry and culture trends.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Active promotion of mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play Store digital distribution platforms:
1) App Store Optimisation (ASO) - growth of organic app downloads through:
- App visibility analysis and optimisation;
- Contribution to the development of adapted marketing materials to the local market: promotional art and stores’ graphic assets;
- Language expertise in written materials: stores’ descriptions, publications;
2) Monitor local media and influencers for potential work together
3) Based on open reports and data, support and make recommendations to enhance effectiveness of regional push and promotional campaigns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Native Chinese and fluent English;
- Current student or a recent graduate with a degree in marketing or in social sciences preferable;
- Experience in digital marketing or an advertising agency would be an advantage;
- Strong interest in digital/mobile app industry and willingness to learn;
- Confident user of an iOS or an Android device;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
