A. Bilateral Program
Chinese Government Scholarship Program has been established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or understandings reached between the Chinese government and the governments of other countries, organizations, education institutions and relevant international organizations. It provides both full scholarships and partial scholarships for international students and scholars, including those who wish to pursue Bachelors degree,Masters degree, Doctoral degree, and to study Chinese language as a full-time student. An applicant shall apply to the dispatching authority in your home country between January and April each year. Please contact the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline, application details and submit the application as required. If recommended by the dispatching authority, the candidate shall contact our university for Conditional Admission Letter.
NOTE: An applicant should consult the dispatching authority in your home country so as to get the Instructions of CSC Online Application System for International Students and Agency Number.
B. Special Programs: Chinese University Program and Cooperative Program with Provinces and Autonomous Regions
1. Program Categories, Duration and Language of Instruction
1.1 Quota: 10 scholarship students. This scholarship only supports graduate programs. Scholarship duration is two to three years for master’s programs and three years for doctoral programs.
1.2 The scholarship is unavailable for students who were studying in China from the period of September 2014 to June 2015 and students who apply to study their mother language in China or the third country language such as English, French and etc.
1.3 Applicants who apply for courses instructed in Chinese must have a good command of Chinese language. If their Chinese proficiency has not reached the requirement, they are required to take one-year remedial Chinese language courses and pass the relevant test prior to the studies in their specialties.
1.4 The scholarship duration specified in the Admission Letter, covering major study and Chinese language study, cannot be extended in general.
